Temperature Guidelines: Cold, Warm, and Hot FoodsUpdated 3 days ago
FODZYME® works with cold, warm, and hot foods, as long as the temperature stays below 140°F (60°C). Add it right before eating so the enzymes remain active and effective.
Cold Foods
FODZYME® works normally with cold foods.
You can add it directly to items like salads, cold desserts, or chilled drinks. The enzymes begin working immediately when they come into contact with food.
Warm Foods
Warm foods are ideal for using FODZYME®.
Simply sprinkle it onto the meal or mix it in just before eating. No special adjustments are needed as long as the food is at a comfortable eating temperature.
Hot Foods
For hot foods, timing matters.
- If food is too hot to eat comfortably, it's too hot for FODZYME®.
- Let steaming or sizzling foods cool down for a minute or two before adding
- Avoid exposing FODZYME® to temperatures above 140°F (60°C)
- Add it right before eating, not during cooking
High heat can deactivate enzymes, which reduces effectiveness.
Hot Liquids
FODZYME® can be used with hot soups or broths once they’ve cooled slightly.
Sprinkle FODZYME® into the liquid just before eating and stir well to ensure even distribution. For more detailed guidance on using FODZYME® with beverages, see the drinks guide here.
Key Reminder
- Do not cook or bake with FODZYME®
- Always add it at the table, not during preparation
This ensures optimal enzyme activity.
