Booking & Joining Your ConsultationUpdated an hour ago
Our dietitian-led consultations are the best way to learn how to use FODZYME. This guide walks you through scheduling your call, what to expect, and how to join.
What types of consultations do you offer?
We offer two types of complimentary consultations:
Group consultation: A 30-minute session with up to 8 people, led by one of our Registered Dietitians. This format is great for getting started and hearing others' questions alongside your own.
1:1 consultation: A private 20-minute session, available exclusively to subscribers. It's just you and one of our Registered Dietitians.
Both are video calls over Google Meet.
Is this a phone call or a video call?
It's a video call that happens over Google Meet (camera optional). You can join by clicking the link in your confirmation email or any of your reminder emails. This is not a phone call; no one will call your number at your meeting time.
You don't need any special software or a paid Google account to access the meeting.
How do I schedule my consultation?
For group consultations:
Click the booking link in your order confirmation email. It opens our scheduling page (hosted on Acuity Scheduling).
Pick a day and time that works for you. Times are shown in your local time zone.
Fill in your personal details and answer a few short questions.
Submit the form to confirm your booking. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your spot confirmed.
For 1:1 consultations:
Head to your customer portal and schedule via the booking link at the top of the page.
What happens right after I book?
You'll land on a confirmation page that displays your call date and time, along with:
A link to "Join your meeting here"; click this to join the call.
An option to add the call to your calendar (iCal, Outlook, Google), so you get a reminder.
Options to reschedule or cancel if your plans change.
We recommend adding the consultation to your calendar right away, so it's easy to find later.
Where do I find my meeting link?
You'll get a confirmation email right after booking with your consultation details and the option to add the event to your calendar. We suggest adding it to your preferred calendar immediately.
Here's how to locate your email:
From: FODZYME ([email protected])
Subject: starts with "Your... is confirmed!" and includes your call date and time
The link: listed next to "Where" in the email. That's your meeting link.
Don't see the email? Check your spam or junk folder, and your Promotions tab if you use Gmail. Confirmation emails sometimes land there. Searching your inbox for "FODZYME" or "acuityscheduling" usually turns it up, too. Still can't find it? Reach out to [email protected], and we'll resend the email.
How do I join my call?
When it's time for your call:
Open the meeting link from your calendar event, or open your confirmation email and locate the meeting link there.
The meeting is hosted on Google Meet in your web browser. On a computer, you can join right away with nothing to download. On a phone or tablet, you may be prompted to open or install the free Google Meet app.
Click Join to enter, and one of our dietitians will meet you there.
We suggest joining about 5 minutes early so you have time to download anything you need before the call begins.
Do I need to turn my camera on?
No. You're welcome to turn your camera on if you'd like, but it's completely optional.
What should I do to prepare?
Nothing is needed! We asked you a few questions when you booked, so we'll come ready. Just bring any questions you have about using FODZYME, dosing, your triggers, or FODMAPs in general, and we'll take it from there.
How do I reschedule or cancel?
In your confirmation email or reminder emails, click the Change/Cancel Appointment button. If you have any trouble, reach out to [email protected], and we'll help you find a new time.
Is the session recorded?
Your session will use AI transcription for quality, follow-up, and feedback purposes only, including fulfilling any requests made during your session. Recording may capture your voice. You'll see this note when you book, and our Privacy Policy has the full details. Please keep in mind that these sessions offer general wellness guidance, not medical advice. For your specific medical needs, always consult a qualified healthcare provider.
