Why do we include dextrin?

Dextrin is an important ingredient to make sure FODZYME performs well in your favorite meals. Enzymes are very delicate proteins. They need to be immobilized/stabilized to make sure their activity is preserved. A common way of doing so is by binding the enzymes to a carrier substance, typically sugars [1]. For that purpose, we use dextrin. They help stabilize our enzyme blend and prolong enzymatic activity.
