FODZYME contains 4 ingredients: Fructan hydrolase, alpha-galactosidase, lactase and, dextrin.
FODZYME INGREDIENTS (and what they do):
Fructan hydrolase - Enzyme that breaks down fructan/inulin found in garlic, onions, wheat, etc.
Alpha-galactosidase - Enzyme that breaks down GOS, found in beans and legumes
Lactase - Enzyme that breaks down lactose found and dairy.
Dextrin - Stabilizes the enzymes

Why do we include dextrin?
Dextrin is an important ingredient to make sure FODZYME performs well in your favorite meals. Enzymes are very delicate proteins. They need to be immobilized/stabilized to make sure their activity is preserved. A common way of doing so is by binding the enzymes to a carrier substance, typically sugars . For that purpose, we use dextrin. They help stabilize our enzyme blend and prolong enzymatic activity.
