Will FODZYME® interact with my medications?Updated a month ago

FODZYME® is generally safe to use with most medications, but a few considerations apply. There are no known adverse interactions with over-the-counter supplements or prescription drugs. However, since FODZYME® is a protein, taking it alongside digestive enzymes that break down proteins (proteases) may reduce its effectiveness. Additionally, alpha-galactosidase, an enzyme in FODZYME®, may slightly impact the activity of certain diabetes medications like acarbose and miglitol, though this might help reduce their gastrointestinal side effects. Since FODZYME® works quickly and is taken with meals, it is unlikely to interfere with medications taken at other times. If you have concerns, consult your healthcare provider before use.
