Ingredients & allergen informationUpdated 17 days ago
FODZYME® contains three targeted digestive enzymes plus a stabilizing ingredient to help break down specific FODMAPs safely and effectively. It's made with a clean, allergen-friendly formulation and no artificial additives.
Active ingredients
FODZYME® contains three enzymes, each designed to break down a specific type of FODMAP:
- Fructan hydrolase: breaks down fructans found in garlic, onions, wheat, and similar foods
- Alpha-galactosidase: targets GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) in beans, lentils, and legumes
- Lactase: helps digest lactose found in dairy products
These enzymes work directly on food during digestion to reduce FODMAP-related symptoms.
How the enzymes are made
All enzymes in FODZYME® are produced through microbial fermentation using Aspergillus species. These organisms are Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) by the FDA. No animal-derived ingredients are used, and the final product is suitable for vegan diets.
Why FODZYME® contains dextrin (corn-derived stabilizer)
Dextrin is a non-GMO, corn-derived stabilizer that protects the enzymes, maintains their activity over time, and ensures consistent performance when mixed with food. It is not an active ingredient or filler.
If you have a corn or maize allergy, consult your healthcare provider before use.
