Are there any concerns about adverse interactions with other supplements or medications?Updated a month ago
FODZYME® has no known adverse interactions with most supplements or medications, but there are a few key considerations. Since FODZYME® is a protein, taking it alongside digestive enzymes that break down proteins (proteases) may reduce its effectiveness. Additionally, its alpha-galactosidase enzyme may slightly impact the activity of certain diabetes medications like acarbose and miglitol, potentially alleviating some of their gastrointestinal side effects. While FODZYME® does not enter the bloodstream and is generally low-risk, those taking medications with gastrointestinal effects may find it harder to assess its benefits. If you have concerns, consult your healthcare provider before use.
